Margie believes that photography is a potent way to document the many facets of people and reveal their stories without words. She wants to know what lies deep behind their eyes and smile, and then evoke and profoundly communicate that depth through images. Margie is passionate about healing and growth through connection and true expression, and finds that photography powerfully facilitates this by illuminating the subject's essence and emotion.

As a small child, Margie would spend hours in the dark room with her dad as a faithful assistant, or in the field with him as an enthusiastic model. She got her first “real” camera when she was in high school, and since has always kept one close at hand. What had been a “hobby” has quickly become a profession. She specializes in shooting quality portraits and documenting special events with the goal of always keeping her eye trained to capture magical moments and clients' true inner beauty. She loves seeing the delight on clients' faces or maybe even a tear in their eye when they take a first look at their portraits. It is in those moments Margie knows she has reflected their true essence right back at them. And to her, that is what photography is all about.
